Added height is only only issue if your feet no longer touch the floor when driving, or as passenger. For reference, I am 5′ 6″ and my feet just touch the ground with our Scopema Swivel Seats. Of course, you can add some sort of shim to the ground if needed, but that is not ideal for the driver’s seat. It is dangerous to not reach the driving pedals sufficiently.
However, for Eric who is 6′ 1″, the height added by the swivel seat base really does not matter at all.
