I will be adding afew GBs to orders and over the next couple years should have a little stack of them. Time will tell how they do but it feels to be catching on
How much cash to silver should one keep on hand? Any thoughts
It really depends on your income and expenses. I think having $2,000 – $5,000 in cash on hand should prepare you for most things but you may decide you need more cash-on-hand. You could do the the $1000 Cash, 100 oz Silver, 1 oz Gold plan that a lot of people do. Do that 5 times and you’ve got a Monster Box, $5K and 5 ounces of Gold.

I drive 20 minutes, and wouldn’t you know, a 1/2 oz Eagle walked in the door just in time! Maybe we have all thrown our money away at the GBs but I don’t think so. I just wish they would sell them strictly to the public and avoid the dealers who mark them up.

So, I bought several Silver Ghana Alien coins and a 1/10 gold Alien coin recently. They all came in this week and sadly the Gold Alien is damaged. I reached out to the Mint and I’m hoping they will do something for me. Anyways, stacking on we go!

Wow, thats a good price on that 1/2 ounce gold eagle. Gonna have to check that store out as much as I hate the thought of fighting I-4 to get there from Lakeland lol. Recently picked up a one ounce Britannia from my local coin shop at $50 over spot and a couple of 1/4 ounce eagles at $530 each. Love that fractional gold! The deals are out there!! Yep, Silver does have some weight. Few years ago I bought two empty silver eagle monster boxes. And started filling them. Now both are full and I got some long white zip ties to keep them closed. They worked really well, but each box is extremely heavy! Hard to pick up and move. I’m now concentrating more on gold and need 3 more ounces to get to two dozen ounces. That could take two more years. My next coin is going to be another Buffalo.

Gold and Silver Coins have premiums over spot we all pay, fact of life. Kids aren’t in summer camps, wife is earning, are you a close friend of mine who needs all the details?
