Hi Guys, have you tried Callaway lumber near your location? My local hardwood / lumber yards have much better pricing than Lowe’s and Home Depot. Example, I bought a 4×8 sheet of Birch faced 1/2 inch plywood and the price was over $84 at HD. I went to a local hardwood dealer and I bought a higher quality Maple faced 3/4 inch 4×8 sheet of plywood for $65.00 – and that’s Southern California (aka unaffordable living area). So, 1/4 inch thicker and higher quality product – saving $21.00. Considering the amount of wood/plywood you use in your projects, it’s worth the investment of research and possible travel to get supplies. Hope this is helpful you two crazy kids!!
We literally have nothing else close to us! If we need specialty lumber we can drive to Houston or Austin, but itβs definitely not practical for most projects π
Labeling with blue tape is your friend!!!
Looks amazing so far, can’t wait to see the finished project!
Girl you need a router table!!! Nice job!
What size boards are you using n what are your cuts
It’s nice to see your supporting her n not trying to make her do your ideas or taking over good job both of you can’t wait to see what else you build n sometimes little things happen don’t sweat them
Hi guys our big hardware store is Lowes in Brisbane Queensland Australia and the rest of Australia our big hardware store is Bunnings love watching your vlog and love watching what you build absolutely beautiful πππ
YES, if you stop working on the project and play pickle ball, you are STILL working!! I love that you added that part to this video π
Hey so for the wood yβall should look into if you have a local Woodworkers guild. My dad is apart of one and they have ALL sorts of wood and machinery to cut. Iβm sure they would love to have your wife apart of it. Also it helps support the local woodworkers!
i missed you guys!, great build Andrea!
I am a new subscriber and have been going through all of your videos. Andrea you do amazing work and Dean cracks me up. The both of you together are great team. I do have one suggestion, when you have something to sand take a pencil and draw squiggly lines on it so you know exactly where you sanded.
Iβm watching and wondering how itβll go through a door lol
Enjoyed the long format! Cool to see both of your personalities come across so well on camera. I am building in my house too and it is fun to see how knowledgeable andrea isβ¦ and how unknowledgeable I am π. Keep it up.
