Hi my name is Steve, I’m a new subscriber and I want to thank you for your Video on how to spot counterfeit Silver. I just started stacking Silver and went to a local coin shop for the first time. I bought a few pieces, 2 of them were 1oz. Silver Towne Bars. Since I’m new to this I was handling the Silver and realized the 2 pieces were shaped slightly different, I put a magnet on them and sure enough it stuck to one of them. Without your video, I would have never known the difference.
P.S… The Shop owner was embarrassed, and made it right. He gave me a Liberty Silver Dollar to replace the 1oz. Bar, and 2 Buffalo Rounds at Spot.

Do you worry about milk spots on the Britannia coins? I saw a video where the guy sold all his because of the milk spot problem.
Yea milkspots are indeed a problem on brits… but with a low premium the security features are awesome.

For several weeks my LCS has been offering various generic 1oz rounds (buffalo, don’t tread on me, union liberty, rmc) for $1.75 over spot. I basically want to call him every day and put in an order!

I bought 2022 BU Britannia‘s from Monument metals last year and 2021’s the year before I sold them to Jm bullion in November and they considered a lot of them cull because they had milk spotting and paid less for them. I could’ve said no to the price, but I wanted to unload them. I had no problem with current year maples

You mean Silver Eagles? Silver Eagles aren’t considered constitutional coins, pre-64 90% Silver Coins are what’s referred to as constitutional.
Let’s see, APMEX is selling Morgans and Peace Dollars in the 90% silver category. Not sure you you feel the need to exclude them….
@J D sure but they’re almost ALWAYS priced at way above regular 90% (and yes i know they have slightly more Silver) and usually as collectibles. So they’re not on my top 4 for just Stacking.
