  1. Kudos Phil, it can be hard to go against the dude in your brain who insists any amount of true vulnerability should be avoided at all costs. Health and social anxiety have been my ‘mains’ lmao and they really are such shits, sorry you’ve been dealing with em, but here’s to finding progress and hope and joy n stuff!

  2. I’m bad with therapy bc I hate going back to the same person multiple times. If I feel like they’ve got to know me I feel embarrassed to share more thoughts and I feel like I’m disappointing them when my mental health goes down. I’ve seen like 10 different therapists for only a couple sessions each 😂🥲

  3. Okay, phil cracking himself up at the end was super cute haha. And thank you for sharing your story, I have been thinking about going to therapy as well . But I don’t feel like my problems are “enough”, but hearing your story gave ma bit of reassurance 🩵

  4. I’ve been in and out of therapy of different levels for years and it’s been varying levels of helpful. I think it’s helped me get to grips with things I didn’t even have words for let alone the tools to handle. If your in the uk there are a lot of options for support of various kinds- some without even needing a gp referral. Do some googling and give it a go if you think it might even help in the smallest way! Better to have tried it then not at all !!

Thank you for uploading this- I’m actually starting therapy (first session tomorrow) and was SUPER nervous bc I’ve had previous bad experiences with therapy- but hearing that you (and others in the comments) have had positive experiences has really made me feel better!! So thanks Phil and to everyone sharing their experiences!! (hopefully fourth time is the charm haha)
